What is an Unverified Patient?

MyPatientScheduler tracks which of its patient records also exist as patient records in your front office practice management system. It does so based on a unique identifier of your choice, usually the patient's chart number or Id given in your practice management system.

MyPatientScheduler maintains the relationship between its patient record and your practice management systems patient record using this chart or Id number. MyPatientScheduler records which do not have this linkage are considered Unverified Patients. Records with this linkage are considered Verified Patients.

The MyPatientScheduler features available to a patient are automatically adjusted based on their verification status. For example, there may be some types of appointments you do not allow Unverified Patients to make.

With MyPatientScheduler Live, the verification process is automatically handled by MyPatientScheduler.
