Email Confirmations

Confirmation requests are automatically emailed to patients a configurable number of days before their appointment. Each email contains detailed appointment information including patient name, appointment date / time, and your practice contact information.

One-click Confirmations

A single click on the embedded confirmation link is all that is necessary for a patient to confirm their appointment. With MyPatientScheduler Live, confirmations are immediately reflected in your office schedule.

Text-Only Emails

More and more people are reading their email by mobile phone. MyPatientScheduler's mobile device friendly email format makes it easy for patients to read and confirm. We don't send fancy graphic laden emails because very often they cannot be properly displayed on a mobile device. Simple is better and more effective.

Telephone Confirmations

Patients automatically receive a system generated telephone call reminding them of their appointment and providing them an easy touch-tone confirmation capability.

Touch-tone Confirmation

MyPatientScheduler's telephone reminder system automatically detects human answered calls and presents them with a touch-tone menu option to confirm their appointment. With MyPatientScheduler Live, confirmations are immediately reflected in your office schedule.

Answering Machine Detection

MyPatientScheduler's telephone reminder system automatically adjusts the confirmation reminder message when an answering machine is reached.

Text Message Confirmations

MyPatientScheduler's automated Text Message reminder and confirmation system provides another convenient way for patients to confirm their appointments. Patients automatically receive an SMS Text Message reminding them of their appointment and providing them a unique confirmation code they can text back to confirm their appointment.

Smart Confirmation Codes

Each Text Message reminder contains a unique confirmation code patients can text back to MyPatientScheduler to automatically confirm their appointment. MyPatientScheduler acknowledges successful confirmation replies with a thank you text message response. With MyPatientScheduler Live, confirmations are immediately reflected in your office schedule.

Scheduled Delivery

MyPatientScheduler provides you the flexibility to schedule the delivery of your appointment reminder / confirmation request messages. You can specify the time of day, and the day of the week your Telephone and Text Messages reminders are delivered. Choosing when your automated telephone reminders are delivered allows you to find the time of day that yields the highest confirmation rates for your practice.

Phased Message Delivery

Phase Message Delivery means you can configure when each communication technology (email, telephone, text message) begins communicating with your patients relative to their appointment. For example, you may begin sending email appointment reminders 10 days before an appointment, telephone reminders 3 days before an appointment, and text messages 2 days before.

Anti-Spamming Protection

MyPatientScheduler has built-in protections to prevent patients from receiving unnecessary or untimely confirmation reminder communications. The system limits email reminders to one per day, and telephone and text communications to one per appointment. Additionally, once a patient confirms their appointment, they receive no further confirmation requests for that appointment.

Opt-Out

Patients have the ability to opt-out of the Telephone and/or Text Message reminders, but will still receive email confirmation requests if they have a valid email address.

Measurable Success

Each confirmation method, whether email, phone, or text message, allows you to measure its effectiveness using custom reports. Detailed reports for each communication type allows you to see what was delivered and responded to.

Integration

MyPatientScheduler Live customers enjoy the added benefit of a fully integrated solution. When MyPatientScheduler makes a confirmation request or receives a confirmation, it automatically updates your practice management system to reflect the current state of the appointment.
