The Connector

To provide this kind of integration with your practice management system, MyPatientScheduler relies on a companion module know as the Connector. Think of the Connector as a software bridge between your practice management system and the MyPatientScheduler web service. The Connector resides on the Connector Appliance which is installed inside your office as either a physical or virtual PC.

The MyPatientScheduler Connector provides encrypted communication between your practice management system and the MyPatientScheduler web application, providing a secure, real-time, two-way communication channel. In the event your office looses its internet connection, MyPatientScheduler Live will automatically switch to transaction queuing mode (like MyPatientScheduler Choice), and continue to collect patient transactions. When your internet connection is restored, it will switch back to its fully automatic mode.
