Patient Dashboard Features

The MyPatientScheduler Patient Dashboard is specifically designed to meet the scheduling needs of your patients.

The Patient Dashboard automatically adjusts itself based on your service options and the patient's verification status.



Schedule Appointments

An easy to use, multi-step wizard guides patients through the process of making online appointments. Patients may select from the list of Appointment Types you make available online, and may even choose a preferred provider for their appointment.

The appointment wizard collects appointment date information differently based on the MyPatientScheduler service you are using:

MyPatientScheduler Live

MyPatientScheduler Live allows a patient to select appointment date information, then click a button to check your office schedule for availability. MyPatientScheduler responds to the availability checking process with a list of available appointment dates that are as close as possible to their request. The Patient then chooses an available time.

When appointments are booked by the patient in MyPatientScheduler Live, the appointment is automatically created in the front office practice management system. MyPatientScheduler automatically double checks the availability of the appointment a second time to be sure its still available.

MyPatientScheduler Choice

MyPatientScheduler Choice allows the patient to specify their primary and secondary appointment date information including date, month, year, hour, and day of the week.

When appointments are booked by a patient using MyPatientScheduler Choice, the appointment is placed in the Appointment Request queue. The Frontdesk is then notified via the Required Actions List.

Confirmation Appointments

MyPatientScheduler allows your patients to confirm appointments by email, phone, and text message, saving your front office staff a significant amount of phone time!

A key feature of the MyPatientScheduler confirmation process is that your patients don't even need a MyPatientScheduler account to use it. They are only required to setup an account to make appointments. Often, patients find out about your MyPatientScheduler service from the automated confirmation request communications.

MyPatientScheduler Live

With MyPatientScheduler Live, patient confirmation requests and response are automatically recorded in your practice management system, including when Phone or Text Message confirmation request where sent and associated confirmations by the patient.

MyPatientScheduler Choice

With MyPatientScheduler Choice, when a patient confirms their appointment, the Frontdesk administrator is notified that the appointment has been confirmed allowing them to take the appropriate action in the practice management system. There are never any emails directed at your front desk, the MyPatientScheduler Dashboards manages all communication.

Confirmations by Email

At a set number days (configurable in your Admin Dashboard) prior to an appointment, patients receive an automated email from MyPatientScheduler reminding them of their appointment and asking them to click a confirmation link embedded in the email.

Confirmations by Phone

At a set number days (configurable in your Admin Dashboard) prior to an appointment, patients receive an automated phone call from MyPatientScheduler reminding them of their appointment. If a human answers, they are prompted to press "one" to confirm, otherwise a message is left on their answering machine.

Confirmations by Text Message

At a set number days (configurable in your Admin Dashboard) prior to an appointment, patients receive an automated Text Message from MyPatientScheduler reminding them of their appointment. The text message contains a unique confirmation code and asks that they respond with that code. If they respond with the code, their appointment is updated, and they receive a thank-you acknowledgment text back from MyPatientScheduler.

New Patient Registration

Patients gain access to the MyPatientScheduler online appointment scheduling service by completing a secure user registration process. Once registered, they may use your online scheduling service to schedule online appointments, register family members, and even make payments.

With MyPatientScheduler Live, patient registration is enhanced to include an automatic verification process. Using key information supplied by the patient during registration, MyPatientScheduler Live will automatically verify the patient with your front office practice management system.

MyPatientScheduler Live can even be configured to automatically create new patient accounts in your practice management system during patient registration, freeing your staff from having to manually enter the patient information into your practice management system.

Manage Family Members

Patients can easily add family members to their accounts to form a family group. The owner (guarantor) of the family group can schedule and manage appointments for any member of their family group.

Multiple user accounts can also share the same patient (family member), providing two parents the ability the manage appointments for the same child. Appointment notifications for the child are then sent to both parents allowing for better communication and an increased likelihood of appointment confirmations.

MyPatientScheduler Live can even be configured to automatically create new patient accounts in your practice management system when the family member is added, freeing your staff from having to enter the information manually.

Cancel Appointments

Like it or not, patients do cancel appointments. However, we see that patients using MyPatientScheduler are less likely to procrastinate their cancellation and more apt to reschedule because they do not have to call the office. They can cancel and reschedule in a more convenient way, thereby conducting the process sooner than later, allowing your office more time to fill the gap.

Password Recovery

The Password Recovery feature allows previously registered patients to supply the username and the answer to their secret question they choose at registration to recover a forgotten password. MyPatientScheduler automatically generates a new password and emails it to the patient.

Username Recovery

The Username Recovery feature allows previously registered patients to supply the email address and answer to their secret question they choose at registration to recover a forgotten username. MyPatientScheduler automatically emails their username.

Online Payments

Using the secure online payment form, patients can enter credit card and payment information for processing by your front desk.

Credit Card information is double encrypted for secure storage. Once processed by the Frontdesk, most of the credit card digits are discarded and the patient is automatically sent an email indicating their payment was processed.
